Goody two shoes in WWE

I was just wondering what the problem is with WWE at the moment and one of them that I can think of is John Cena.

John Cena today is a goody two shoes baby face like a Hulk Hogan in 80s and Early 90s. Those days are long gone. Since the Anti Hero Austin helped change the business in the late 90s the idea of a baby face trying to inspire us and believe in ourselves has gone. Don't get me wrong the charity work done is amazing but as a character it is old and boring.

People cheer Hogan now because he is a living walking nostalgia trip. With Cena it just doesn't work.
Cena needs to turn heel now or The Shield, Bad News Barrett, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, who could be faces with Austin attitude, will pass him by.

Bray Wyatt

I never thought that I would be hooked on a character and a wrestler as much as I am Bray Wyatt. He reminds me a lot like Jake Roberts. He can shout, whisper or just look you right in the eye with his cold dead eyes and smile.

He is without a doubt the best character in wrestling since the 90s. He is the future of the wwe and I love it!

He's got the whole world in his hands he's got the whole wild world in his hands
He's got the whole wild world in his hands he's got the whole world in his hands

He's got the little bitty baby in his hands he's got the little bitty baby in his hands
He's got the little bitty baby in his hands he's got the whole world in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands...

He's got you and me brother in his hands he's got you and me sister in his hands
He's got you and me brother in his hands he's got the whole world in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands...

He's got everybody here in his hands he's got everybody here in his hands
He's got everybody here in his hands he's got the whole world in his hands
He's got the whole world in his hands...
He's got you and me brother...
He's got the whole world in his hands...

The Ultimate Warrior passes away

The news of Ultimate Warrior passing away has knocked me, and many others, for six. Warrior was part of a lot of wrestling fans childhoods. We grew up with this super hero style character and the Warrior gave us legendary matches against Hogan at Wrestlemania 6 Slaughter at Royal Rumble 91 and of course his greatest rival the Macho Man Randy Savage at Wrestlmania 7 and summerslam 92

Everyone will always remember the impact the Ultimate Warrior had on the wrestling business and I will never ever forget him.

So thank you Ultimate Warrior for all the great promos. Thank you for the great memories and always being the Ultimate Victoooooor!

An intro

Hello and welcome to cookie wrestling ponderings. I will be given my thoughts on wrestling of today tomorrow and way back when I first started watching this crazy thing called wrestling.

I have been a fan of pro wrestling since 1991 and the very first thing I saw was macho man randy savage in the barber shop announcing that he will marry miss Elizabeth at summerslam 91.

I did not have a clue why savage was in a barbershop and why he wasn't wrestling in the ring. Then I realised that it wasn't like the british wrestling my dad liked. What I was watching was a drama, entertainment a story book world where people settled disputes in the ring and I was hooked.

To this day when I say I'm a wrestling fan I get people saying things like "you know it's fake." I always respond with: so is Batman, so is Star Wars. "They don't really hurt each other." I don't even have to explain to true wrestling fans that they do get hurt. We are not thick and don't realise that they know who is going to win.

I have loved pro wrestling from 1991 and I still love it just as much today and I am not ashamed about it.

see ya later!
